WHAT IS
GIFT BACK
Will You Donate and Be the Reason for a Child’s Smile?
“The most beloved of people to Allah are those who bring the most benefit to others.”
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Every Ramadan, The Date Project proudly delivers Giftback a simple but powerful initiative that brings joy to children who have already endured far too much.
Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and care for those most in need. Through Giftback, these values are turned into action. Many of the children we support have lived through devastation, losing parents and loved ones, losing homes, and facing hardship no child should ever have to experience.
For them, a simple gift is more than a present. It is comfort, joy, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a difference!
Giftback 2026 will be launched 10th March 2026
THE PERFECT GIFT, RIGHT?
How Giftback Began
Each Ramadan, The Date Project sells thousands of Medjoul dates nationwide to raise funds for vital causes around the world.
Once the dates have been enjoyed, supporters are invited to reuse the empty tin (or a shoebox) and fill it with thoughtful gifts for children in need. This year, Giftback gifts will be delivered to children in Syria and the United Kingdom.
Many of these children have seen unimaginable loss through conflict they did not choose. Millions face hunger and uncertainty, with futures that feel increasingly fragile.
To date, over 45,000 gifts have been donated to children in Syria, Yemen, and the United Kingdom.
Each Giftback is a quiet act of sadaqah, a small deed, given sincerely, with lasting impact.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO LET THEM KNOW SOMEONE IS THINKING OF THEM, AND THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.
